In Road Haulage For National & International Operations (CPC)

Who Should Participate

Anyone who needs or wishes to hold the prerequisite qualification of professional competence for operator licensing in the UK and/or in an international context.

Qualification Available
Achievement of the Certificate of Professional Competence in National Road Haulage Operations demonstrates that the holder of the qualification is qualified to perform the effective and continuous management of undertakings engaging solely in transport operations within the UK.

Achievement of the Certificate of Professional Competence in International operations demonstrates that the holder of the qualification is qualified to perform the effective and continuous management of undertakings engaging solely in transport operations within any EU member state.

CPC NATIONAL ROAD HAULAGE OPERATIONS:

Made up of two units

Unit 1 The legal and business context – is assessed by a single assessment module

Module 1 is a 40 minute examination consisting of 30 multiple choice questions.

Unit 2 Managing national road haulage operations – is assessed by two separate assessment modules

Module 2 - is a 60 minute examination consisting of 40 multiple choice questions.

Module 4 – is a case study scenario followed by questions to be answered in 120 minutes.

CPC INTERNATIONAL ROAD HAULAGE OPERATIONS:

Made up of units 1 and 2 plus unit 3

Unit 3 Managing international road haulage operations – is assessed by a single module.

Module 6 – is a 60 minute examination containing 10 questions.

Statement of level

The Certificates of professional Competence have been designed to be comparable in demand to other qualifications at level 3, e.g. NVQ level 3, Advanced GNVQ and A level. Candidates may wish to take up the opportunity to do pre-course work or speak to our course tutor before starting the course
