What is an Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are Training Programmes designed for young people who have left full time education. If you think you do not want to enter further education but still would like to receive training for a job then this is the way forward.

Apprenticeship = being employed and completing training at ATT on a day release basis each week while receiving a wage.

The Application Process

You will need to complete an application form and return to ATT .

You will attend an assessment session at which will consist of a short testing session on Communication (English), Application of Numbers (maths),and a practical mechanical test.

You will then attend an interview at ATT where we will discuss individual requirements and explain further about the qualification and the process of attending job interviews.

ATT where possible will arrange for you to attend an interview at a prospective employer.

Once successful in gaining employment you will attend an induction at ATT before learning commences.

All learners must be employed before starting a training programme.
