becoming a
Mechanic
we can help.
ATT offers Apprenticeship training in
the following
Light
Vehicle Motor Mechanics at Apprenticeship and Advanced
Apprenticeship levels.
Vehicle Fitting at Apprenticeship level.
What is an Apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships are Training Programmes designed for young
people who have left full time education. If you think you
do not want to enter further education but still would like
to receive training for a job then this is the way forward.
Apprenticeship = being employed and completing training at
ATT on a day release basis each week while receiving a wage.
The Application Process
You
will need to complete an application form and return to ATT
.
You
will attend an assessment session at which will consist of a
short testing session on Communication (English),
Application of Numbers (maths),and a practical mechanical
test.
You
will then attend an interview at ATT where we will discuss
individual requirements and explain further about the
qualification and the process of attending job interviews.
ATT
where possible will arrange for you to attend an interview
at a prospective employer.
Once
successful in gaining employment you will attend an
induction at ATT before learning commences.
All
learners must be employed before starting a training
programme.
